Why Buy

Complete Cruiser Cooling was established by a law enforcement officer with 29 years of experience in the South Florida area. We saw the need of a system that can help both law enforcement officers as well as the public.

When a law enforcement officer makes an arrest the department and that officer assumes the responsibility for the safety of that person.  It is common knowledge in the law enforcement community that partitioned police vehicle have no ventilation or air flow which can result in extreme high temperatures especially during the summer months.  Persons arrested who may have elevated body temperatures due to exertion, drug abuse, heart problems, or many other unknown medical conditions could become seriously ill or even die. The Barrier Blaster was developed to specifically address this critical issue.

Safety to law enforcement officers was also a major factor in the development of the Barrier Blaster. Currently, the only way to get any air to the rear is by a slide window opening which gives little air flow to the rear partitioned area. This opening could possibly result in the transmission of airborne diseases from the detainee to the officer, hence putting the officer at risk. Further, extreme back seat temperatures with an already agitated detainee have lead to endless cases of kicked out rear door windows, hence further placing the arresting officer in a situation which increases the possibility of injury. This could also result in injury to the detainee which then becomes the liability to the police department.  Our patented product provides a means to help reduce liability by protecting both law enforcement and the public.

As this concept is being more recognized by Law enforcement departments, its use has widened to include that of police K-9 units throughout the country and over seas.  The inventor is also a former K-9 officer and knows that it is essential to cool down your K-9 partner after a long and exhausting search. Given the wide acceptance of this concept for K-9 units, other animal owners as well as show dog, & hunting dog owners are also starting to recognize the potential for such a product while transporting their pets.

Moreover, taxicab companies throughout the country are seeing the need to protect drivers with a partition while still providing a cool and comfortable ride for their patrons. The lack of such a partition has been the direct result of numerous taxicab driver larcenies, robberies and even deaths throughout the country.

The Barrier blaster can save lives, both directly and indirectly as well as keeping you K-9 and pet safe and comfortable. The Barrier Blaster is affordably priced and can be customized to fit your needs. Contact Complete Cruiser Cooling today and talk with us about your vehicle cooling needs.

3 REASONS WHY LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES SHOULD INSTALL

THE BARRIER BLASTER

1) Reduces Civil Liability

2) Increases Officer Safety

3) Protects Electronic Computer Equipment

A standard police unit with a Plexiglas partition and a slide window has approximately a fifteen [15] to twenty [20] degree difference between the front seat and rear caged seating area of the vehicle. There is little to no airflow to the partitioned rear seat. Any vehicle which has been shut off and closed up easily reaches temperatures of up to one hundred and forty [140] degrees in a short period of time. Research shows the temperature can rise as much as forty [40] degrees in 5 minutes. Temperatures will stay hot longer in the caged backseat even after the vehicle has been turned on for a long period of time because of the restricted airflow. Medical research shows that persons with certain health conditions, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, respiratory illness, and or taking certain medications, either prescribed or illegal, are subject to hyperthermia. Excitement and agitation also can elevate the body temperature and increase heart rate. These unknown factors at the time a subject is detained contribute to an even higher liability when placed in a patrol car without good ventilation. In high heat conditions it is known that even rolling down the windows only slightly lowers the temperature. The longer the subject is held in the elevated temperature, the higher the risk for dehydration and hyperthermia. Modern law enforcement agencies are now installing laptop computers in their police cruisers. This enables officers to fill out their paperwork in the unit while the prisoner sits, handcuffed, in the caged backseat for even longer periods of time without proper ventilation. After being apprehended, a subject could be detained in the vehicle for a considerable amount of time while the officer is interviewing witnesses and completing the necessary paper work. The bottom line is that all agencies are CIVILLY LIABLE for prisoners while they are in custody, in the backseat of police units. The agencies are obligated to provide the best available environment, in order to maximize the prisoners well being while minimizing liability. Prisoners placed into the rear caged area without proper cooling and ventilation, who may have health problems or are taking medication or under the influence, can significantly increase this liability factor. Up until now there has not been a solution for this problem. The Barrier Blaster is that solution. The SAFETY of officers is another important reason for departments to install The Barrier Blaster. In today's society there is an increase of contagious, infectious airborne diseases such as active tuberculosis as well as viruses and influenzas. An officer can better isolate himself or herself from the prisoner by closing the Plexiglas slide window. The closed slide window has little effectiveness in cooling and ventilating the rear of the unit. While having the window open, actually increases the risk for an officer to contract an airborne disease or respiratory infection when a prisoner is in custody. The Barrier Blaster reduces the risk and liability while providing the prisoner with a constant flow of ventilated, cool air. This ventilation conduit system not only PROTECTS the officer and his/her detainee, it also reduces the risk to the vehicle's electronic equipment by keeping the laptop and inverter box cool at all times while the vehicle is running. This reduces overheating and possible damage to expensive electronic investments. Keeping the laptop computer cool will help prevent the computer from shutting down due to overheating and may extend the life of the laptop and the inverter box. The Barrier Blaster by Complete Cruiser Cooling, Inc. is the only 12V blower motor ventilation conduit system available. It is an economical solution to all of above-mentioned problems with today's patrol cars.
